Fausto Bottini
Fausto Bottini (b. 1995) is an Argentine visual artist and portrait photographer working with photography and printmaking. His interest in arts as a tool for the construction of identity began at an early age.
Being self-taught, he trained in photography, fine arts, oil painting, old school bookinding and different printmaking techniques. As a queer person, Fausto’s art is skewed by the history of the LGBTQI+ community and there is a constant interplay between his private world and the queer theory in his work.
Fausto has exhibited his art and participated in collective artistic activities in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Montevideo and Copenhagen.
He is currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he produces work as a portrait photographer and printmaking artist. He also works as a visual designer developing brand designs for various companies.

Fausto Bottini (f. 1995) er en argentinsk billedkunstner og portrætfotograf, der arbejder med fotografi og grafiske trykteknikker. Hans interesse i kunsten som værktøj for identitetskonstruktion begyndte i en tidlig alder.
Han har autodidakt lært at arbejde med fotografi, billedkunst, oliemaling, bogbinding og forskellige trykteknikker. Som queerperson er Faustos kunst skævtbøjet af LGBTQI-historie og der er et konstant sammenspil mellem hans private verden og queerteori i hans værker.
Fausto har udstillet og deltaget i kollektive kunstaktiviteter i Buenos Aires, Madrid, Montevideo og København.
Han er for tiden bosat i København, hvor han producerer værker inden for portrætfotografi og tryk. Han arbejder samtidigt som visuel designer med branding for forskellige firmaer.
